Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see
Remove the speakers:
1.
Disconnect the speaker cables (1) from the system board.
2.
Remove the right speaker cable from the clips (2) in the computer.
3.
Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (3) that secure each speaker to the computer.
4.
Lift the speakers up and out of the computer (4).
NOTE:
screw holes. The absence of or damage to these isolators can result in degraded speaker
performance.
