Because these enclosures use standard internal tape drives, they provide a cost-effective means of mounting tape drives in rack server

environments. the enclosures offer scalability, allowing customers to add drives and migrate to new tape technologies as their capacity and

performance needs grow. HP StorageWorks rack-Mount Shelves are supported by ProLiant, HP Integrity, and alphaServer platforms.

available in SCSI, SaS and USB interfaces, the 1U rack-Mount kit accommodates up to two half-height internal tape drives and supports

a range of tape technologies, including Dat, DLt VS, and half-height Lto Ultrium. the 3U rack-Mount kit holds up to two full-height SCSI

internal tape drives, four SCSI/SaS internal half-height tape drives, or a combination of one full-height and two half-height tape drives.

SCSI LVD; or Mini-8088 SaS) with power

supply, fans, power cord, quick deploy rail

kit including sliding universal rails with quick

release levers for fast and easy serviceability
