• Fibre Channel Switches and iSCSI Controllers – Fibre Channel switching creates the
fabric of the SaN. optionally iSCSI Controllers allow connection of servers to the
SaN array through ethernet cabling.
• Servers and HBAs – Host bus adapters (HBas) connect the server to the SaN
switches or directly to the SaN array.
• Cabling and Transceivers – Fibre Channel cables provide the physical connections
between SaN array, Fibre Channel Switches and Server HBas.
• SAN Management – HP Command View eVa software configures, manages
and monitor components to ensure optimal SaN operation.
• Storage Management – HP Business Copy eVa and HP Continuous access
eVa provide local and remote replication services respectively.
