Description
POGO connector and cable
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.

Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.

3.

Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

4.

Remove the following components:

a.
Display panel (see
b.
Battery (see
Remove the POGO connector:
1.
Using a PH Type #0 Phillips screwdriver, remove the two Phillips M1.6×1.6 screws (1).
IMPORTANT:

Disconnect the POGO cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (2).
3.
Peel the cable up to disengage the adhesive that secures it to the computer (3), and then remove the
cable/connector from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to replace the POGO connector.
