Ensure all components are dry prior to mating sleds/batteries with peripheral devices. Mating wet components may cause damage not covered by the warranty. We recommend use of Honeywell Li-Ion battery packs. Use of any non-Honeywell battery may result in damage not covered by the warranty.

Sliding the Apple Device into the Sled 1. Remove the front cap and slide your iPad mini into the sled. Note: Be careful that the connectors are not accidentally damaged. 2. Replace the front cap by tightening the two attached TORX (T6) screws.

Charging Using the Power Supply Adapter Note: Use the power supply adapter that came with the Captuvo SL62 iPad mini sled to charge the iOS device and the sled simultaneously. Note: Make sure that the connector is positioned correctly in relation to the port and is securely inserted into the sled.

Charging using USB to PC Note: Updates to sled firmware and plugins can only be made using the USB to PC cable. When the iOS device is in the sled and it is connected to a PC/laptop, only the sled charges. The iOS device cannot be charged or updated via USB.
Solid Green Sled’s battery is fully charged. Demo Apps To test scanning a bar code, download the Honeywell Price Check application from the Apple App Store . This application is for demonstration purposes only and does not process any data.
Installing Hand Strap 1. Hook the hand strap onto the metal pin. 2. Slide the opposite end of the hand strap through the slot at the other end of the sled. 3. Fold the strap and press the hook and loop pieces together to secure.
