TouchPad button board
Description
TouchPad button board (includes bracket and cable)
Before removing the TouchPad button board, remove the following components:
1.
Battery (see
2.
Service access cover (see
3.
Hard drive (see
4.
Optical drive (see
5.
Keyboard (see
6.
Top cover (see
Remove the TouchPad button board:
1.
Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the TouchPad button board cable is
attached, and then disconnect the cable (2) from the TouchPad.
2.
Slide the TouchPad bracket to the left (3) and then remove it.
3.
Remove the TouchPad button board (4).
Reverse the above procedure to reassemble and install the TouchPad button board.
