Power button Choose from these options: » Power on/off: Press the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time, then tap Power off. When your phone is off, press and hold the Power button to turn it on. » Screen on/off: To conserve battery power and prevent accidental touches, turn off the screen by pressing the Power button.
Stylus Navigate apps, take notes, handwrite text, edit screenshots, color images, perform calculations, and more. » To remove the stylus, push the stylus inward to release it, then pull it out. » To store the stylus, insert it into the slot. Then, push it until it locks in place. Push to release Stylus: bottom right is the stylus.
» Set a removal reminder: Set a reminder when the stylus is out for a period of time without use. Swipe up from the home screen and tap Settings > Stylus, then tap the switch next to Stylus out of case to turn it on. To change when your phone sends the notification, tap Stylus out of case and then select 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 1 hour, or 1 day.

Press the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time, to turn it off. Volume Power off graphic. Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons at the same time to turn it off. Tip: You can adjust settings, if you want to only press and hold the Power button (instead of the Power and Volume Up buttons) to turn off the phone.
Now is a good time to check if your phone needs to be charged. Swipe down on the home screen to show battery charge level. Note: For the fastest charging speeds, charge your phone using a Motorola 30W or higher USB-C Power Delivery (PD) charger (may be sold separately) and a Motorola PD cable. Other compatible chargers and cables may be used to charge the device.

Notifications At the top of the screen, icons on the left notify you about new messages or events. If you don’t know what an icon means, swipe the status bar down for details. Privacy notifications You may see a privacy notification green dot in the top right of the screen. This privacy notification, tells you the camera or microphone has been accessed. Miracast allows users to wirelessly share multimedia, including high-resolution pictures and high-definition (HD) video content between Wi-Fi devices, even if a Wi-Fi network is not available. Chromecast developed by Google is a technology that lets you stream your favorite entertainment apps from your phone and play internet-streamed audio-visual content on a high-definition television or home audio system.
