The Hotwirer 8774 Termination Unit is a circuit card assembly that contains four
Time Division Multiplexer Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line (TDM SDSL) ports
and a DSX-1 interface. When the termination unit is used in a Hotwire 8600 or
8800 Series Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) chassis, it
transports up to 1544 kbps signals over traditional twisted-pair telephone wiring.

Configuring the TDM SDSL Termination Unit Configuration option settings determine how the unit operates. Use the Configuration branch of the Hotwire 8774 TDM SDSL Termination Unit’s menu to display or change configuration option settings. The unit is shipped with factory settings in the Default Factory Configuration area. -
