OBJECTIVES
At the completion of this exercise, you will be able to remove the Finisher and Punch Units,
perform a Component ID, and review the necessary adjustments to ensure each unit's
optimal performance.
Note: Each procedure starts on a new page. Continue until all procedures have been
completed.

Reference Guides:
In the BP-FN11/12 Service manual, find the "Exteriors" diagrams and "Internal

mechanism" diagrams.
In the BP70C45 Service Manual, go to the "Details of Simulations" section.

Perform the following:
1. Remove the front cover of the Finisher and, by cheating the door switch, watch the
operation of the unit running in Non-Staple, Staple, and Pamphlet Mode.
2. Perform Simulations 3-2 and 3-3 to check Sensors and Components.
