GROUNDING (EARTHING) INSTRUCTIONS This appliance must be grounded (earthed) and is equipped with a cord having an equipment- grounding (earthing) conductor and grounding (earthing) plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded (earthed) in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
OPERATION Your central vacuum system starts and stops automatically. To turn the system on, plug the hose into a wall inlet valve. To turn it off, remove the hose from the valve. The hose handle may be equipped with an optional on-off switch. It is used to control the start and stop of the power unit while the hose is plugged into an inlet valve.
