Sending Methods Memory Sending The machine begins calling the other party and transmitting the information after all documents are scanned into the memory. Since the machine is multitasking, you can even scan a document into memory while performing other tasks. Dialing Through a Switchboard A PBX (Private Branch Exchange) is an on-site telephone switchboard. If your machine is connected through a PBX or other telephone switching system, you have to dial the outside line access number first, and then dial the number of the party you are calling. -
