    Direct Attach Cables (DACs). The QSFP+ ports can be populated with optical QSFP+ transceivers or DACs. The RackSwitch G8264CS provides support for Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing, including Converged Enhanced Ethernet (CEE), 10 Gb Ethernet switching, Fiber Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), Omniports SFP+, QSPF+ ports and 2/4/8 Gb Fiber Channel (FC).

You can replace a hot-swap power supply module without powering off the switch or disrupting switch functions.     Installing or replacing a fan module The RackSwitch G8264CS contains up to four hot-swap fan modules. Three fan modules are required for normal operation. The switch continues to operate when there is one failed fan module. If one fan fails, the switch sends an error message. If a second fan fails, the switch sends an error message, writes a failure log to flash memory, and shuts down.
