2.2 Unloading and installation 2.2.1 Transport units 2.2.1 The transport units consist of up to three double panels which are assembled including the busbars and the associated withdrawable units. In transport units consisting of one double panel the busbar and branch busbar are packed separately in the busbar compartment and fixed on the partition plate to the 2.2.2 cable termination compartment.
Installation 2.2.4 2.2.4 Checking for damage in transit Immediately after unloading and unpacking check the switchgear for completeness and damage. Record any damage and its cause without delay and in the presence of the forwarding agent if the damage was caused in transit. The record is essential if claims for damages should be raised.
– – In the latter case roll the units to their installation site. If this means changing the direction of travel, lift the units and relocate the roller pads accordingly observing the floor cutouts. When the site of installation has been reached, lift the transport units by four winches and remove the roller pads.
